Yes We Are Closing


To All Our Friends,

This letter is written as a formal announcement concerning the closure of our business: Scarbrough Office Design, Inc.

The decision to close our business has been one of the most difficult ones I’ve ever had to make. In the past three years we enjoyed moderate success followed by months of seeing an overall downward turn in business. I weighed a number of options and finally decided that the best thing for us was to close our doors.

I do not regret for a single moment that I took the risk in opening this business, though I might have thought otherwise if I had a crystal ball at that time and knew what would happen with the economy. I believe our overall approach to how we conducted business was really good, but I believe we could have done some things much better.

The greatest blessing for all of us at Scarbrough Office Design has been the opportunity we’ve had in getting to know so many wonderful people in the business community. We’ve been blessed with awesome customers and amazing business associates.

As we prepare to close the doors, we will be selling off all of our showroom furniture, office equipment, computers, warehouse items, tools and so forth. If you’re in need of any of those things, let us know.

Also, for our customers with whom we have pending orders and projects, we will be completing all of those as planned. In addition, for any warranty or future project needs, please contact us and we’ll get you in touch with the right people who will serve you well.

Finally, please keep me, Brenda, Cory, Jared and our families in your thoughts and prayers as we prepare to walk into a new chapter for our lives. As always, I am optimistic concerning our future.
